Rejoice

Rejoicing is easy when we get our way. (Hallelujah!) It’s even easier when we get even more of it. (Thank you, Jesus!) But it’s hard when we don’t, and even harder to stand by and watch as someone else does. There are no words to say in those times. But we can read and recite scripture on rejoicing time and again and allow the Holy Spirit to align our hearts with God, until we rejoice as Jesus commands (Luke 10:17-24) and David demonstrated (2 Samuel 6:12-22). Heaven and earth are called to rejoice (Psalm 96:11-13), so of course we are as well (Psalm 95:1-2).
